Founder, Lori Lee Mendieta had a vision: that spirit programs
would have the opportunity to create a camp experience that suits
their needs, and break out of the national cheerleading camp norm.
Through this type of training, teams could develop quicker and
coaches can establish the proper foundation to build their programs.
With a staff of three they traveled all over the Midwest, sharing
USSA’s unconventional camp programs. The programs were fresh,
custom…everything but “cookie-cutter.” Eight
years, eleven states, twenty-three employees, and a couple kids
later; USSA has flourished into one the nation’s leading
choreography companies on the East Coast, with client teams on
the West Coast trying to get a taste of the East Coast Flair.
USSA’s company headquarters is now located in Murrells
Inlet, South Carolina.
USSA is humbled by its growth and expansion and credits its
success to their loyal coaches and clients. We look into the
future with optimism that spirit programs are realizing that
they can gain an amazing camp experience, maximize the technical
aspect and count on a company that will be there year round
