Video Analysis

With video technology on the rise, USSA is now offering an innovative new way of coaching and critiquing our teams: through video analysis. This evolutionary new way of coaching will enable teams across the globe to get professional tips, critique and suggestions without ever leaving your gym.

Here is how it works:

1. Simply video tape your routine (in three directions –front, right side, left side view)
2. Send the tape to USSA.
3. A USSA national certified judge will analyze your tape and create a cassette tape of how to adjust, improve, change, and clean your routine. You will also receive a judging report that will rate your performance with detailed comments (based on the USASF for all-star teams and NFHS for school teams) judging guidelines. With this report, you will receive tips on how your teams can improve their overall score in all aspects of the score card before you begin to compete.

The benefits include:
• Critique from one of the nation’s top judges.
• Personalized ways to improve your routine by breaking down each section and analyzing from both a coaches and judges standpoint.
• Knowing where your team stands on before you go into the competition.
• If choreography changes are needed, video feedback from the judge will help your team change the routine quick and easily.
• Beneficial ways to help your team with stunts that seem to never hit. We can analyze and make the proper adjustments to your stunts to make them hit every time. We will breakdown each stunt so your team understands all the components of the skill.
• Analyze the use of floor, choreography, and traffic patterns.
• USSA will also be able to critique the various stunts and pyramids within your routine and give you suggestions on how alter them in a way to maximize your points.
• In addition, squads will receive tips on how to improve your skills later in the years as your squad’s ability progresses.

Call USSA for more information regarding video analysis or email us at video@teamussa.com.
